He grew up surrounded by toys. The family business meant that playing was more than just a childhood memory: it became a natural way to observe, imagine, and create. It was in this environment that his curiosity about objects, their forms, and how they evoke emotion and interaction was born. During high school, on his chosen artistic path, he first encountered subjects such as painting, screen printing, woodcut, and photography. These experiences marked the beginning of a creative approach based on curiosity, imagination, and a desire to experiment. Later, he studied Architecture at the Porto Higher School of Arts, where he deepened his fascination with form, light, and space. Following that, he lived for five years in London, an intense city where cultural diversity and creative energy profoundly shaped his trajectory and broadened his vision of design. Back in Portugal, he specialized in Furniture Design at the Lisbon School of Design. With roots in the North and currently based in Lisbon, he dedicates himself to furniture and product design. He believes that an object should go beyond its function. His process always begins with understanding the context and needs of each project, but it is in the search for a balance between rigor and intuition that he finds his language. The pieces he designs are distinguished by a serene and captivating presence, where the sensuality of the forms, the relationship with light, and the attention to detail allow them to integrate naturally into the space, without ever losing their identity.
