JBNG is a design studio run by Birkan Gülöz and Jonas Nussbaum. With an open mind and a hands-on approach, the duo creates authentic and straightforward design – silently radical in its functional and sculptural appearance. Shaped by character, clarity, and attention to detail, their work invites a lasting dialogue between human, object and space.
The Cologne based studio works with a focus on furniture and lighting objects, ranging from serial productions to limited editions and one-offs. Each work represents a holistic design process combining diverse experiences and influences from graphic design, architecture, art, and craft.
