Jinsik Kim is a contemporary designer based in Seoul. After graduating in 2013 from the Master in Luxury & Craftsmanship program at ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne, he founded his own design studio. His practice explores minimalist structures, forms, and the intrinsic qualities and purity of materials, creating sensory experiences where visual and tactile perception converge.
He has collaborated with international brands including Christofle, Baccarat, Hermès, Bolon, and Nestlé, as well as the British design magazine Wallpaper* on various projects. In 2016, he became the first Korean designer to participate in Wallpaper* Handmade. His work has also been recognized with the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2019 and the Interieur Awards 2016.
