Roee Magdassi is a product designer based in Tel Aviv. He graduated cum laude from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, and has since worked across product, furniture, and digital design.
Living and working in Tel Aviv, a Mediterranean city characterized by both European and Middle Eastern influences, has had a strong impact on his design language. This cultural mix is reflected in his work, which draws from a variety of traditions and includes references to contemporary art, and minimalist architecture.
Roee’s designs are characterized by simple geometric forms, bold graphic shapes, and a playful yet functional approach. He is interested in exploring the relationship between people and the objects surrounding them during casual, everyday moments.
His work aims to create practical designs with a strong personal character — objects that feel desirable, approachable, and fun. Products that make people smile.
