Porventura is a Portuguese brand at the intersection of national and global design. Born in 2017, it has been reinventing traditional lines ever since. With a touch of whimsical, it challenges people’s notions of routine actions like to sleep, sit, eat or work. Through the use of classic elements - starting with solid wood, but including fabrics, cork, metal, and others; and focusing on ergonomic techniques Porventura balances unexpected concepts, creating pieces that live in harmony with contemporary home life.

For us, it’s a matter of touch. Beyond beauty and functionality, we aim to give our products a distinctive sensory quality. Each product is gently finished by a craftsman, individually polished to perfection by the seasoned hands of our partners before leaving the workshop or factory. This is our unique touch and we invite you to feel it. Feel the knowledge, care and tradition at the tip of your fingers.
We couldn’t have it any other way. Working with small producers, artisans and craftsmen is part of what makes us unique and we feel it is our duty to support other businesses as we build our own. We believe in growing together, preserving traditions and resources for the next generations. This becomes possible through these partnerships and by carefully selecting materials and techniques that respect the times and needs of the planet and the arts.
Porventura believes in the power of togetherness and defines itself as a design collective. It builds on the very portuguese tradition of hosting people.
